I like the new design and hope things are going well. My aunt, 52cupcakes.blogspot.com lives in the DC area, so if you need to know little spots where to pick up baking supplies, hit her up her blog.

Thank you, and thanks for the tip! I didn’t know that you were related to the 52 Cupcakes gal!

Hi Andrea, just saying hello from Brazil and wishing you all the best in your new home. I love that area, as I told you before. Take care.

    Andrea,
Adapting to a new kitchen usually sucks, but sometimes it’s wonderful — especially if the layout makes sense to you.

Hi Cris, good to hear from you again!

Hi Kevin: The kitchen has a nice layout, which helps. For me the hard part was figuring out where to put all the baking paraphernalia! All that gear is kind of scattered around the cabinets (for now), but hopefully I’ll have a good system figured out soon.

    Andrea,
So good to see another food blogger from America’s First Region- Hampton Roads! If that is a picture of your stove I am jealous without seeing the rest! We added on a new kitchen to our home and even when you have the choice of where things go, so often what you want is governed by what you can afford (that sucks!)

Hope you get all settled in and are making a mess in no time!
I am also adding you to my blogroll. I want to include as many Virginia food bloggers as I can!

  7. Andrea says:

Thanks, Deborah! Nice to meet a fellow Virginia blogger. We were down in Hampton Roads for almost five years before moving to northern Virginia last month. We’re getting more settled in every day, and I’m getting back into the swing of cooking after eating out far too much during the move in period.

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO REACH THE OWNERS OF COOKTOPCOVERS. I ORDERED AN ITEM IN ALUMINUM FROM THEM. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO REACH THEM. I PAID FOR THE ITEM AND I HAVE HEARD NOTHING FROM THEM OVER A MONTH AGO. I TRIED TO CALL FROM THE PHONE ON THE INTERNET. THAT PHONE HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED. I HAVE E-MAILED MORE THAN 3 TIMES AND NO WORD FROM THEM. I AM BEGINNING TO WORRY. SINCE I FIRST FOUND THEM ON YOUR SITE, I THOUGHT THAT MAYBE YOU MIGHT HAVE ANOTHER PHONE FOR THEM. THANKS….I HAVE NO WAY TO REACH THEM
