My New Writing Gig

This week we’ve had vacation at home. Michael took some time off and has been whittling down the list of projects that have been weighing on us since we moved in the spring. I’ve also taken a bit of a vacation, from blogging that is, and just tried to have some relaxing time with the kids before school starts again in a few weeks. Next week look for posts for Sugar High Friday, The Daring Bakers monthly challenge, and the Grow Your Own round-up!

I also have some exciting news! Last week I was selected to join a pool of writers for the new DC Metro Moms Blog, which is all about taking a humorous look at life and raising kids in the DC Metro area. Right now the blog is in beta, but you can take a look at my current posts. You can also find the sister blogs at Silicon Valley Moms Blog, Chicago Moms Blog, and the upcoming NYC Mom Blog. The DC blog will officially launch sometime next week.
