You may have already heard from Lis at La Mia Cucina, but she and I have a new gig this year! Back in November I got a surprise email from FoodieView.com inviting me to be a contributing author on their blog, and I was tickled pink. I’ve been using their recipe search engine for some time now because it connects to a bunch of different databases (Epicurious, Food Network, Recipezaar, Allrecipes, Eating Well, Coastal Living, Fine Cooking, Real Simple, Saveur, Southern Living, some great cooking blogs, and more) and you can drill down by ingredients, source, famous chefs, holidays, ethnic cuisine, etc. It’s pretty powerful, and they have an online recipe box where you can store your favorites. All around, it’s a great tool.
So when they asked me to write for them, there was no doubt that I would do it! My first article was about making Christmas cookies with kids, and I have two more coming out this month, including one tomorrow. I’ve put a link to the blog in the right sidebar, so check it out! So far there are posts from Lis, Rachel of Coconut & Lime, and me. I don’t know yet who else is on board, but I think we have a great group so far!
