I hope everyone has had a good January. We’re still growing our own herbs in the kitchen garden, though sadly I lost all of the basil and mint last week due to an infestation of whiteflies. We salvaged what we could, dumped the dirt and cleaned out the pot and the AeroGarden, and are now starting over with both of those. One of the problems with bringing in herbs that have grown outdoors–in this case, the mint–is they often infest the houseplants with whatever they brought in!
