Hi Andrea, thanks for posting this. I've been looking around for some new smoothie recipes that not only taste good, but are substantial enough to fill me up for a while. This one looks like it will fit the bill. Looking forward to any others like this one that you might like to share!

Andrea, how gorgeous. I love avos and grew up with avo trees in our garden, but I never seem to get past scooping them right out of their skin into my mouth, maybe pre-seasoned with a little sea salt and cider vinegar. I will have to give this a try, although I'll need a soy milk alternative as it is not my favourite

Oh Andrea... my mom used to make a lot of avocado shakes when we were kids... I like to use the unsweetened soy milk for these recipes, are any of your kids allergic to milk too? My little one is. Have a nice weekend!

Thats a simple, healthy recipe. I love the mist-green color of the smoothie. Looks delicious :)

I love avocados, but never have made a smoothie with them. D'oh! I save all my little tidbits of leftover fruit in the freezer to use for smoothies. My kids love them, too. It is a fast and easy breakfast.
