Love the photographs! And the gnocchi looks so great!

Sage browned butter would be awesome! Your herbs are looking great. My sage and thyme didn’t survive the Canadian winter, but the chives, mint and oregano are up.
Great job on the gnocchi! Wonder what’s next.

I don’t think I’ve ever had gnocchi, but it looks wonderful! I’ve been considering joining the Daring Bakers/Cooks, but am unsure about meeting the commitment required. Looks like fun!

  4. Your gnocchi look great! The more of these I see, the more I want to try making them.

  5. Your herbs are beautiful, and so is your gnocchi!

Is it just me, or is this recipe missing potatoes?

  8. Andrea says:

Hi Hallie! This is a unique recipe and very different from traditional potato gnocchi. No potatoes, and only the flour used to roll it.

i think our gnocchi must have tasted identical as i really relate to your comment about them tasting like a light omelette! they looks so delicate in your first picture, beautiful.

I have a weakness for fresh gnocchi, and yours look delectable. I need to get my hands on this cookbook!

  15. Andrea, these look amazing. I love all gnocchi so I would have been first at the table. I love the fact that the daring bakers have branched out. Great group. I am sorry that I never managed to keep up. Even now I feel my fingers twitching as I get the urge to sign up again. I know that life in general will get in the way though, and I will never complete the challenges. I have more chance of turning up at your house for dinner!

  16. Beautiful pictures and I really like the photos of the herbs (you are so lucky). Great work on the 1st DCooks’ challenge. Cheers from Audax in Australia

Those look so good! I plan to join the daring cooks, but I’m moving next month and may not have a kitchen for a bit. But as soon as I get settled.
